Obi of Uruagu Nnewi
Obi Afam Obi, succeeded his late father, Obi Dr Nnamdi Obi, and was installed at the last Obi Uruagu-Nnewi’s Ogidi festival, which featured his enthronement as Ogidi VI of Uruagu Nnewi.
He also commended the Isi Obi’s elders, and leaders of thought in Uruagu-Nnewi who have since his enthronement continued to support and profer valuable counselling to move Uruagu-Nnewi community forward and assured that he will serve and rule with the fear of God, the Obi royal family in Ndi Ojukwu Uruagu-Nnewi are known and acclaimed.
